| I think I hit a pause button on my life. Actually, I dont think I hit the pause button, if you know what I mean. My frustration level is somewhere in the nosebleed section of the stadium (only sports reference EVER). If you know me then you know what is going on in my life. I am feeling trapped and getting ready to snap, you will see. When the reporters ask about me, just say I was a nice guy and you never saw it coming. I keeeeed, I keeeed. Still havent bought the house. yeah, so thats it. joe | | |
| So, we are in the process of coming up with money for our down payment on the house. We need to come up with $1460. We are basically selling everything that isnt nailed down. If you have ever been to our apartment and seen something that you want for YOUR place, make an offer. I am barely kidding.
I am selling all my Magic Cards, I am sitting down today to make a list of the cards.
I am selling my Bass Amplifier, (Fender BXR 200)if you know anyone who wants a bass amp for a reasonable price, let a brother know.
I am also your supplier for ActiVit vitamins, I have an 11 month supply. $20 for a 2 month supply.
Um, what else? I dont know. I should sell my old school Nintendo and like 5 games. My super Nintendo, and my DreamCast. Let me know if there is anything that tickles your fancy.
I could probably do some small services for a nominal fee. I can cook like a mad man, you supply the materials I supply the perfect blend of spices and cooking expertise. Seriously, if anyone wants me to cook for them, let me know.
Seriously, I need money pretty badly.
Donations will be greatly appreciated, and the fact that you are helping build a dream should make you feel warm and bubbly inside.
Thank you for any interest,
joe

| So, what has been going on lately? You may ask the same of me.
So here is what is new...
Kate and I are living together. Yes, I know you think it is bad, and while I can understand your point and empathize a little, I have to say that you don't know all the circumstances. Don't pretend, you don't know. I am not trying to be a wiener about it, I am just saying that until you know all the circumstances, don't pretend to know what is going on. I appreciate how most of you are handling this, I honestly do. If you want to know something, ask me. Go to the source.
Kate and I are looking at a house. Actually we are more than looking. We are under contract. WOOOOOT!!! The house is in Williamstown, the highest rated schools in the county, and is 3 bedroom 1 bath, one stall garage. I would prefer to have another bath, but that can be solved at a later time. It has a fenced in yard, a brick patio with that awesome green moss on it and one of the biggest oak trees in the yard that I have ever seen. It needs a little work, and the guy selling it is going to do some updates. New tile, carpet, paint, that sort of stuff. The best part is the price. Since it is a buyers market I am going to take advantage of it. Williamstown is THE epitome of small town America. Everyone knows each other, small town america football games, unlocked cars at night, NO crime rate. I love it. And when the market rebounds in a couple of years we can sell if we choose. Also, the price is decent and the loan payments are lower than what I am paying for rent right now. So, thats a plus.
Still working at REM. I have good benefits and great medical. That helps. Still loving my job. I hope to get a raise pretty soon.
Well, thats all I can think of right now. Oh yeah, we are in the Aquarium market now. We have a 10 gallon with a couple of fish, getting a 29 gallon next week and hope to keep going up in tank sizes. My sister has a 255 gallon. It is friggin HUGE. It take up one whole wall of her house. She has about 3 grand in it right now.
So, thats about it for now. I want to start Xanga'ing more often. I will let you all know what is going on. I have been meaning to update for a while, but I keep getting sidetracked.
Have a wonderful week.

Oh yeah, I am reading my 30th book for the year. I wanted to read more and I think 30 books this year is a pretty decent start.

| OK, an update.
What has been going on lately? Well, since the beginning of the year I have been going to the Dr. like crazy. Health insurance is a wonderful thing. I went in January and the doctor decided it would be a good idea for me to go on Anti-depressants. He put me on Cymbalta and it made me a tad bit loopy for a while. I like the way it stabilizes my mood, but it has some odd side effects. So this last time I went back he decided that he didnt like the way I was reacting to this medicine so he put me on a different med. He thinks I may be bipolar, so he put me on Symbyax, which is a mixture of prozac and something else. Needless to say, today has been a confusing and oddly amusing day. I have been high all day. Not high as in I feel high, but high as in I can not form any coherent thoughts. I keep switching letters around in my words when I speak out lout. A few minutes ago I tried to say, "Naming random diseases." What I ended up saying was, "Raming Nandom..." It is a little amusing.
I slept about 17 hours today. I should explain that it wasnt really normal sleep, it was more along the lines of a drug induced coma. I started getting so sleepy that I was slurring my speech. Apparently while I was sleeping my girlfriend came in and had a whole conversation with me that I dont remember. While I am not a fan of the sleep inducing effects of the medicine I AM a fan of the way it clears my head. Instead of the billion random thoughts flying through my head, I now have one or two thoughts going through. The down side is the fact that the one thought going through my head is completely insane. It doesnt make ANY sense.
I have a girlfriend now, thought I should mention that. Some of you have met her and can see why I think she is awesome. She has these HUGE beautiful green eyes and REALLY curly dark hair. It is awesome that she has her own personality and likes and dislikes. Her sense of humor is wonderfully sarcastic and she handles my nerdiness. That is a plus. She also has the most adorable little girl who just turned two. Kate is the girlfriend, Kaylin is the daughter. Kaylin is starting to string multiple words together to form sentences, it is SOOOO stinkin cute.
It makes me realize how much I want a family someday. Someday, not right now. This is a delightful introduction into parenthood. I got to put her down for bedtime the other night, it was sweet. I held her and sang her a song, then layed her down in her playpen for her sleep, she hugged me and gave me a kiss. I seriously almost cried. You guys know how much of a sentimental wiener I am. This was WAY high on my list of awesome experiences.
OK, my thoughts are starting to run together now. I will go for now. If you have any questions just ask. Have a wonderful day out there in XangaLand.
